Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using myfoodbricks.com ("Food Bricks," "the site," or "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, free users, and paid subscribers.

Account creation

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You may only have one account per email address.
• We use magic link authentication. You will receive a login link by email each time you sign in — no password required.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. If your email is compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscription plans

Food Bricks offers three tiers:

• Free ($0/month) — Access to a limited set of bricks, plans, and tools. No credit card required.
• Monthly ($9.99/month) — Full access to the Brick Library, Meal Plan Builder, and printables. Billed monthly.
• Macro-Aware ($14.99/month) — Everything in Monthly, plus macro tracking, custom targets, and advanced nutrition tools. Billed monthly.

All paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription renews automatically on the same calendar date each month unless you cancel.

Prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days advance notice to active subscribers by email.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Here is what happens when you cancel:

• Your paid access continues through the end of the current billing period. You will not lose access mid-cycle.
• You will not be charged again after cancellation.
• After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free tier automatically — you do not need to do anything else.
• Your saved meal plans, preferences, and account data are preserved. Nothing is deleted when you cancel.

To cancel, go to your Account page and select "Manage Subscription," or email [email protected] and we will handle it for you.

Refund policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on digital subscription services. Because cancellation preserves your access through the end of the billing period, you receive the full value of what you paid for. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for the complete details.

Free tier limitations

The Free tier provides access to a curated subset of Food Bricks content. Free users:

• Can browse the Brick Library but some bricks are locked behind paid tiers.
• Can use the Meal Plan Builder with limited slots.
• Cannot access macro tracking or advanced nutrition features.
• Can subscribe to the Brick Drop newsletter independently of their account tier.

We may change the features included in the Free tier at any time. We will not retroactively lock features that were already unlocked during an active paid subscription.

Intellectual property

All content on Food Bricks — including but not limited to recipes, meal plans, graphics, copy, and the underlying code — is owned by Done By Default LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.

• You may use Food Bricks content for personal, non-commercial meal planning purposes.
• You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or republish our recipes or plans without written permission.
• You may print or download plans for your own personal use.
• Sharing our content on social media with proper credit (tagging @myfoodbricks) is welcome.

User conduct

By using Food Bricks, you agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or crawl the site without permission.
• Use automated tools to access features or data at scale.
• Share your account with others or attempt to bypass subscription restrictions.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the site.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations in connection with your use of the service.

Not medical or nutritional advice

Food Bricks provides general meal prep ideas, recipes, and nutritional information for informational purposes only. The content on this site is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or guidance from a registered dietitian or licensed nutritionist.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, allergy, or specific health goal. Food Bricks is not responsible for any health outcomes related to the use of our content.

Affiliate links

Some pages on Food Bricks include affiliate links to kitchen tools and products on Amazon. If you purchase through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to products we find genuinely useful. Affiliate income helps keep the Free tier free.

Limitation of liability

Food Bricks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Done By Default LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or health outcomes.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes are in effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
